Finally! Checked DPS site today and my back ground check is complete, manufacturing pending on the license! My wife's was complete and manufacturing pending too!

Their app. just got on the desk of someone who likes their job!!!

13 days passed for mine from the time it was received at the mail room until it showed up online as being processed. Now I'm in the background under review time frame, which is about another 10 or so days.

Welcome from Terrell!

Haven't got my CHL in the mail yet, but I picked up what will be my carry weapon today. XD40 4" service. I am going to make my own holster for it, used to do a bunch of leather and saddle work.

Should your second date be at the range???

Thanks again for the warm welcome! Well I am picking up a SA 4" service Xd-40 tomorrow! Can't wait to take it out and put some rounds through it.
