It looked like he initially froze after seeing the revolver. Once he reacted though he did a great job laying down fast and accurate fire (obviously with good effect). As far as it being a "good shoot" I think he acted appropriately and should be commended for his actions.

Interesting! I'm surprised the english reporter put such a positive spin on a gun-friendly culture. He even went so far as to suggest the people were more friendly/laid back due to the high rate of gun ownership...I wish more journalists shared his opinion.

You bring up a good point OP. I don't know that our bill of rights should apply to citizens of other countries just because they are visiting the US.
