I was in my bank today(carrying as always) & stopped in the bank president's office(He's a close friend). He knows I have my CHL and was quizing me about the ins and outs of CHL. Says he's getting his. Small bank in a small town.

Spoke with the chief of police in The Colony today. Very helpful and apoligetic. Had me send a letter to him about the incident and says they will review the video and get back with me.

I guess maybe I have led a sheltered 51 year life, but I just never expected that kind of behavior from any LEO. Had several traffic contacts over the years and have friends in law enforcement and I was completely caught off gaurd.

Just don't try to use your CHL as an ID. I lost my license a couple of years ago and went to get a replacement. The lady told me it wasn't a valid ID but my 40+ year old SS Card with no picture on it was no problem!
