Re: Moved while application being processed
Same thing happened to me. I changed my address on-line and it took two weeks until I got a new one with updated address.

Wally Walk - check
Today I ran a bunch of errands including about an hour at Wally World for my first carry. No problem. I'm so glad I bought a good gun belt for my IWB Glock 36 carry which really made the gun feel light on my hip. I felt so much safer knowing I could defend myself if ever needed. All I did was wear a ...

Re: Getting close
Moved on Feb. 9 so missed the mail delivery and it was forwarded to my new address. Received it today Feb 12th.
This past Monday I changed my address and paid the $27 fee for a new license. Sigh

Re: Teacher arrested for gun in car at school
Can they put up a 30.06 sign to cover the parking lot if it is open to the public, that would make her offense actually illegal? There was some mention of that in the article.

Okay, what am I missing?
I hadn't bought a new gun from a firearms dealer in over 15 years until recently. I don't even remember if there were any forms filled out back then because I always bought rifles or shotguns and not handguns. In the past few months I have bought three new guns, a Glock 21, a Glock 36, and an AR-15 ...

Re: Teacher arrested for gun in car at school
I still don't get it. If she was a tutor, she is under contract and even if she doesn't have a CHL and they try to trump MPA, there is a clause for allowing someone under contract, which all tutor's would be, to defeat the GFZA. Even if she was a teacher, HISD teachers are under contract.

Re: Teacher arrested for gun in car at school
First off, the tutor can't be a felon. Anybody that is hired or works with kids at a school has a background check run.
If the gun was in her car and the car was in the parking lot, then I don't see how they can convict under the law. The parking lot is not part of the premises and the MPA covers ...

Bought 10 boxes of .223 62 gr FMJ for $12.19 box from Cheaper than Dirt today. Seems reasonable even if they are gouging other items.

Re: This look right?
Mine looked exactly the same yesterday. I think they are really looking at the prints closely. I know when mine were done, the computer told the tech how good the scan was and on a few it had to be rescanned on the spot.

Re: Status Updated
Yes. Today was the first day it jumped from "waiting on documents" to a checklist with all of the documents showing up and they are now reviewing the fingerprints and doing the background check. At least I know they are working on it.
