I just heard the same thing from another source. I ride a Harley, wear a cut, and I'm a member of a riding group (with a patch, but not a bottom rocker-not an official MC).

I carry everywhere it's legal for us CHL holders and this has me a bit worried. Even though I know I'm good based on the law ...

I've been watching this thread with some curiosity. However, I have a similar scenario to describe. Instead of something small like a movie ticket, what if a business handed you a pamphlet of some sort--one with lets say twenty or thirty pages. Somewhere in the pamphlet is a 30.06 notice.

Received the plastic today!!! 35 days mailbox to mailbox!!!

I was checking the mail all week since DPS showed it mailed last Sunday. However, everyone should note "Mailed" doesn't always mean it's in the mail.

That being said, I think DPS is doing a great job working through the applications ...

Updated to "Mailed" this morning--Sunday 2/24/2013...

I'm hoping it actually mailed on Saturday giving me a chance to have it in hand by mid-week!!!

Now to figure out how to spend my time instead of checking the DPS website. One thing for sure, I'll never forget my DL number now!!! :)

Same here!!! I'm hoping it got in the mail on Saturday and the system just updated on Sunday. If that's the case, it's possible we might have plastic-in-hand by Tuesday or Wednesday ...

This is moving fast now!!! Changed to Manufacturing this morning...

I guess the delivery of my CHL will beat the delivery of my Crossbreed Holster... :) I'm not complaining though...

It does seem really random--at least from what I've been seeing.

I snail-mailed on 1/25 and as of today I'm already at the "Manufacturing Pending" stage!!! --Less than a month!!!

Just changed from "Background Under Review" to "Background Check Completed" and "Manufacturing Pending"!!! It won't be long now!!!

My feeling is everything moves pretty quickly from here.
