Re: Bond Arms Daily, or Other Carry?
Thank you everyone! Just the kind of info I was looking for. To be honest, I think the main reason I'm interested in one is the cool factor as well!

Pursuit is actually the correct term. Not "chase."

Bond Arms Daily, or Other Carry?
Just curious if anyone regularly carries a Bond Arms derringer either as a daily carry, or in other situations? I do not, but have been considering getting one with a BAD holster specifically for driving carry. (And perhaps as a quick, "grab-and-go" weapon for short trips to town, and such.)

Pocket carry in a pocket holster I hope...?
Absolutely!! Safety first and always.
Preaching to the choir here, but TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN with the holster!! Not to minimize the topic, but I seriously worry that some folks get so concerned with being so super safe that they fail to have the ability ...

Re: Pictures of your "Black Guns"
My newest "black gun"! A Savage Trophy Hunter XP in .270 Winchester. Had one years ago - sold during "Big D" number 2 - so finally decided to replace it. I did check out their Axis lines, but the bolt just "feels" better on the XP. My only b-tch is the new mag release. I understand why they did this ...

Yep. A "mouse gun", a 2-shot Bond derringer, a "pocket pistol", whatever it is. Always live in Jeff Cooper's "Condition Yellow."

Always have prescribed to the 1st rule of a gunfight. (You know what it is.) Then, stop the threat.
In other words, don't miss.

Re: Bass Pro buying Cabela's
Picked up a Savage 111 Trophy Hunter XP in .270 at Academy in Eagle Pass a few weeks ago. (Replacement from the big divorce sale! Love that rifle!) Best price with the exception of Buds. (Would have only saved the tax, so I was okay with that.) What really surprised me was I saw MSRs back on the ...

Re: Glock 42 or .380 for carry
My GF carries a G42 with Fiocchi 90 grain XTPs in a Red Dog Tactical IWB. Quite a highly rated round, and she practices regularly however, she's considering going to a DA/SA single-stack 9mm. Said she will NOT get rid of the G42 though. Nice to have that size pistol as an option, no matter what, as ...

Nothing fancy. A Colt M4 Carbine (LE6920) with a Nikon 1-4x20 M-223 with the BDC 600 reticle on a Burris P.E.P.R. mount. The only thing I've added since this photo was a side sling swivel under the front sight for a Mamba sling. A fun rifle!

Re: Wait time is ridiculous.
I let mine expire in March (thought it was the end of the month, and not my birthday), so I called to explain, and they said just renew like normal. That was around the 3rd week of March, and I got my new card on May 3rd.

Starting to really like the feel of the Walther grips. PPS is an awesome single-stack option, and very thin.

Re: Question for the Glock crowd about the Glock 42 Reliabilty
Check for the "-2" etched in the slide release to make sure you get the "fixed" version. My GF bought a G42 last month, and easily has shot 200+ rounds of varying manufacture, and type through it. (Including JHP.) I've been with her for all of her shooting, and there has been ZERO issues. Glock has ...

Re: 90 days and not holding my breath
FWIW, my renewal was pretty much 6 weeks on the nose. Just as they told me. I know things are a bit slower for new cards, but there ya go.
