I think the reason might be because they have to verify all those through various databases, that is why it takes like forever

Finally after 7 weeks, submitted paperworks 5 times, called dps more than 2 dozens times..my plastic will be mail out within 3 days..

So mine has been going for 6 weeks already.. I submitted everything on feb 15th, got confirmation email on feb 16th. I called this morning to get an update, obviously, they just started my application on march 19th..now i gotta wait for another 2-3 weeks..so looks like i am not going to see my ...

Just got off the phone with DPS and they told me my license was approved and that it should be here in 10-14 business days. However it still hasnt reflected on their website.. Still unable to change my address etc on their site
It will take about a day or so for the website to reflex any changes ...

Welcome to the forum..hang in there buddy, you will get it eventually. It will take quite some time. The waiting ...

The process might take longer than usual with natural citizen because they will have to validate your status with DHS, and then do your background check. So if i have to make a guess on time frame, i would say 14-20 days before you have your plastic.

They will try to speed up your application, but no time frame will be given. But the good thing is whoever specialist you might end up talking to will personally do your application, and they will give you their direct phone line to contact them, so ...

You have to call dps and ask for a specialist, just tell the prep that you return a call from a specialist. Then when you get in touch with them, just tell them that you submitted your paperworks awhile back ( just tell them about 4 ...
