Re: Linux Mint Hacked
WordPress plug-ins are notorious. You are basically hoping that the developer didn't make any mistakes and patches them quickly if they did. And having the official downloads on the same server as wordpress probably not a great security practice.

Re: This is why I will not own any Apple products!
I think the canary approach is interesting could be easily subverted. All the govt needs to do is tell people not to take down their canary. I mean, if we're already secretly making people do stuff, that is just one more thing. Just because someone tells us the FBI has never been there does not mean ...

Want to not have my family destroyed in front of my eyes with no way to do anything about it. I also want to be able to come home to them at the end of the day, not that I am a LEO or do anything dangerous. I live for them and if I am not around they are going to have a very hard time. I want to ...

How is the government able to compel somebody to do labor? This thing does not exist yet and would take an engineer some time to create. Can the government force me to dig a ditch or write a poem?

I would also wonder how they could load new software on it without first unlocking it. If Apple could do that, they could just load on a new OS that unlocks the phone automatically, without having to make the FBI to brute force guess the password. I wonder if the auto-wiping logic is in a less ...

Re: Alien Gear Gun Belt
I got mine in about a week ago. It is incredibly thick, but I guess just as thick as any double layer gun belt. I am one hole off of center so I maybe ordered a tad small. It is pretty comfortable and I don't imagine this ever wearing out. It is a very chocolate brown - I had expected it to be a ...

I'm glad the law was enacted and I'm grateful for the work she did to help the process along. what I don't understand is, how anyone forgets they have a handgun with them. I work on a federal reservation and can't carry everyday (which makes me angry, but is another subject), so maybe I don't carry ...

Re: Dr doesn't want to see me anymore
I have heard of that. A doctor I know has told at least one of her patients she was not going to see him any more if he was not going to take his medicine. Basically throwing down the gauntlet. "If you are not going to do what I say how can I help you"
