Plastic just arrived. Guess I'll step on out of the waiting room...

I tried to check Friday but it said the website was down for maintenance. Don't know when the license was actually issued but I'm assuming it'll show up Monday or Tuesday.

My boss's parents finished their paperwork the week before mine was finished, and received theirs last week. 50-60 days.

Checked the website today.....

STATUS CHANGE! Wooop!

January 27th, it's now been 44 days...

Received my email confirmation 12/14, called 1/15 and was told my CHL100 hasn't even been entered into the system yet.

Don't get your hopes up.

Called today, was told my CHL100 hasn't been entered in to the system yet... over a month in and background check hasn't even been started.

Asked why it's taking so long to enter paperwork and he said because they have literally hundreds of thousands of applications currently.

Haven't called yet, but as I'm now past 30 days was thinking I'd call today.

I'm sure they're swamped but...

Yeah.... that's what I was afraid of. Coming up on a month now, hopefully halfway there. Maybe..

Been able to keep my checking of the DPS website to about once a week, but man this is dragging. Still no change.

2 weeks after submission annnnndddd...... nothin.

My background/record is as clean as they get, so nothing holding it up there.

Dec. 4th online application
Dec. 8th fingerprinting
Dec. 13th class and paperwork submitted online
Dec. 14th confirmation
Jan. 31st noticed status change on website.
Feb. 1st Card in hand
