its 4.25" total length, however there is an apparent break on the long prong so I have know idea how much is broken off or what shape it was.

It is 4.25" long. I tried posting pics of it next to a tape measure but they didn't go through, sorry.

Is this an antique gun part???
I found the piece of metal buried about 3" deep in the soil. I first took it for an old cabinet pull or some piece of junk but after staring at it for a bit I couldn't help but think it might possibly a part to an old firearm.

Re: Interesting events at Boerne Walmart
If it's a law, I don't like it. Why would anyone need that many phones? Don't know, not my business.
Maybe he has a small business and is buying for his employees. Maybe he is about to hike the Appalachian trail and needs reliable phones for him and maybe a couple of his buddies. Maybe he hates ...

Re: And they stand adjourned again...
As far as I'm concerned they can just get a budget passed as required by the constitution and then not pass any bills (unless the bills are to dismantle, get rid of, or clarify current regulation)Papa_Tiger wrote:Let's see... Texas Legislature meets for 140 days every two years.

Here's the headline, sub headline, and caption from a British news site. It's always interesting to see all the different biases in the headlines.

Re: Gun 'mistakes' in Books, TV, and Movies - feel free to post your own
Saw a new movie last night on Netflix called "Mercury Plains". The summary said it took place in Texas and Mexico so I thought I'd be a good one to watch as I fell asleep. It was kind of low-budget and I'm sure there were a plethora of actual "gun mistakes" that I didn't catch because I never ...

Re: Texas Drone Law Contradictions?
IANAL, but I read this as saying that you're OK as long as your drone is no more than 8 feet off the ground, and you are taking the picture of a publicly owned location. I don't know how the restrictions in 15 would play out "without using any electronic, mechanical, or other means to amplify the ...

Texas Drone Law Contradictions?
I've been researching Texas drone laws since Christmas when I received a Phantom 3 from my wife. In regards to taking photos and video, I am a little confused by two sections of the law. Below is the relevant sections in question:

Sec. 423.002 ...

Gold/Silver Bullion purchase for an ignorant rookie
I remember seeing some discussion a while back concerning either gold or silver buying, however I paid little attention because at the time I had little or no interest.
But now I'm thinking of buying a little gold for my dad for a Christmas present. Problem is I know nothing about the market as far ...

Not weird, but getting a little repetitive. Use the site's search function......there's like a gazillion threads where this has already been asked. [/url]

Need help with holsters - Glock 27
My very first post on this website (and the main reason I originally signed up) was for advice on a good holster for my Ruger 380 while biking. The feedback was awesome and I used it to purchase a paddle holster that I was very pleased with and actually began using it not only for biking but almost ...
