Re: Benchmade responds
Benchmade is a solid company making quality knives and I’ll leave it there. I like their knives.
I like their knives as well but actions speak louder than words and you can see what they believe as a company by where they spend their money and the legislative bills they support . It is a ...

But sadly you will still have people bash the NRA.
That would be me. The NRA is no longer a viable solution to gun rights activism. The amount of compromise they allow, simply does not meet my interpretation of “... shall not be infringed.” The Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and Gun Owners ...

HB 357 Constitutional Carry
There is zero reason TX does not have Constitutional carry already but I hoped we would get it this session. Kansas had it in 2015 and Oklahoma looks like they will this year. For a "gun friendly" state it seems to me we are lagging far behind on pro gun measures.

Opening a new thread as I don't want this unseen in the existing thread. In the interests of fair play, here's an interview with Benchmade:

Special licenses for special privileges.
When I read the Second Amendment I see nothing about requiring a license.
You want more special licenses to exercise a fundamental right?
Absolutely not. I want pure Constitutional carry with zero gun free zones anywhere. My only thought is it might ...

Background check for any sale or TRANSFER.
How will they define "transfer." The Dems will want to define it as broadly as possible. If I'm target shooting with a friend and he asks to shoot a few rounds through my .45, will that require a background check?

I am sorry this information cannot possibly be correct. I have read from liberal pundits, to politicians, and posters on this very board that gun/weapon laws save lives. Clearly these stats are part of greater vast right wing conspiracy to discredit leftists.

Re: Truck broken in to, pistol stolen...I’m mad at myself
Bad news. I've often heard that gun-seeking thieves look for trucks with window/bumper stickers like NRA, Cabelas, etc. because these are likely to have guns in them, especially at places like airports where people usually leave them in their vehicles.
Yep, even joked with the cops when I was ...
