This belly holster might help. I like to wear it a little higher with with the gun on the side, and it works great. Plus the tight wrap might help the back?

Good points. Statistically your odds are better on it being drug related. That probably goes for a high % of all crimes.

It's just that I've been stereotyped plenty of times and I try to never assume or take everything at face value, but sometimes you can't argue against stats and facts.

Some days I'll feel like a .38 S&W J and some days I'll feel like a Taurus PT145 pro. Either way, I'm glad to be part of the CHLers. From reading around the forum...CHLers is definitely a great bunch of folks.

Great points dukalmighty.

What we wear also makes a difference on what people perceive we might have or not have. Unfortunately there's folks that will cross that line and kill someone for some name brand object.

The alarms have gone off on my way out of stores. Usually, as pointed out before, I get waved by.

One time though, at WW, i stopped and the clerked ran my bag through. When the bag triggered the alarm on her too, she asked for my receipt and wrote down the cashiers name. :roll:

After the Air Force in '96, I've lived in Tarrant county. I don't know how quick Tarrant is with background checks?
