At least you have a wise "half!" A lot of people are running around with 1/4 or lessjayinsat wrote:fortunately, the wise half prevailed.

Re: Looking for a pocket gun...
Well, I know it has been forever since the original post but I've now had a Ruger LCP and a Glock 33 for a few years. I've gotta say, I really dislike the LCP. I had one of the early ones and I think the fit and finish has improved since then, so maybe i'm just bitter. As small and light as it is it ...

Re: Mini-30... thoughts?
I guess that's the trouble... i want one rifle to fill too many categories. Perhaps I will get an AK first so I can satisfy the plinking urge and meanwhile save up for an M1a.jeeperbryan wrote:I suppose it depends on what you're intentions are.

Mini-30... thoughts?
Does anyone have experience with a mini-30? How does it compare to the mini-14 as far as accuracy goes? Is it a solid purchase, or should I look elsewhere? I would like something chambered in a caliber higher than .223, but i'm not sure how i feel about the 7.62.

Re: Where is "control" defined?
If it adds any insight to it, the word is used in the definition of possession.
PC Sec. 1.07 a (39) "Possession" means actual care, custody, control, or management.

Re: Looking for a pocket gun...
Hmmm... Thanks for the ideas y'all. I think I maybe i'm looking for something that they don't really make. Perhaps I should just buy a Glock 33 AND something tiny.

Yup, glock 31 (Irving). I am throwing around the idea of the baby glock but i'm looking for something with a slimmer profile. I do like the idea of interchangeable mags though...

I like the bullet performance characteristics, and also it is the same caliber as my duty weapon.

Looking for a pocket gun...
I am interested in getting a very small pistol (eg. Ruger LCP) but I would like something chambered in .357 sig. I am having a hard time finding anything that really fits the bill, any suggestions?

CHL Holder age?
I am curious what age group the CHL holders in this forum fit in? Is there any official data on age distribution?
Also, I want to find out if anyone feels that any certain age group has specific challenges they must face that are directly related to their age? (eg. being young or quite old)

Haha, that is great! I've been looking in to getting a single six, but I'm sure I could be convinced of something else too :P
