I bought a couple surplus MR73’s. Even used they are very nice and they shoot well. I think after Korth, they are probably the second best revolver made (that I know of anyway). If you run across a surplus one, but it, you will not be disappointed.
I sold them thinking there would be plenty more ...

Re: One more reason to avoid Academy
No need to visit Academy for your licenses.
You can renew your licenses online on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. Very convenient and the credentials are carried on your cellphone.
I've never done an online version. I assume you have to print out paper tags for deer and fish that would ...

I do not know of any, Vanden Berg is the only decent gun smith around and I am not even sure if he would work on that. You can try him: https://vandenbergcustom.com/

Re: Fountain Firearms closed by ATF
I don’t know anything about it, but the firearms industry is a tough business to be in. Firearm margins are low and the constant threat of lawsuits and the ATF hassles are even more problematic. It would be hard to pay employees any decent salary so finding quality employees would be a problem too ...

Re: ATF Zero Tolerence Policy Recalled
Forwarding to my local FFL, who went through Hell with the ATF.
They had to go back 16 years and in that total time, they found three total minor typos, and called it "a pattern".
When he refused to "voluntarily relinquish" his FFL and took them to court, they just kept getting continuances ...

Re: If you want to buy a gun, this is the best time for it
Just assault rifles? Precision bolt action rifles? Shotguns? Handguns?
Will Glocks, etc go up due to tariffs?
Just browse Gunbroker to get an idea of prices - your local gun store will most likely be higher. Who knows how tariffs will affect prices, buy now or wait to find out, the choice is ...

Re: ATF Zero Tolerence Policy Recalled
My renewal is this year. I must say, the last IOI I had during the O years was fair. I had some minor infractions that he could have gigged me for (paperwork oversights) and he just noted them and had me correct them. Hopefully I get him again this year.
I'm glad it went well. There are ...

If you want to buy a gun, this is the best time for it
I am coming up on 15 years as an FFL and I have never seen prices this low. Things are slow in the gun industry, manufacturers are discounting and so are distributors. The last time this happened a couple (maybe three, I cannot recall) firearm distributors went under. I know it is slow when the ...

Re: Some peoples reloading math is retarded
If you saw my loading stash you might think I could reload for infinity………….
I buy more components than I shoot so I always have what I need on hand. The only handgun loads I hand load are 454 Casull, 41 magnum ,44 magnum - calibers that I have hunting handguns for. I load all my rifle ammo except ...

Here are my suggestions, first, get rid of PayPal. Not only are they anti-gun, they have seized personal accounts when they deem they violate their TOS. Yes, PayPal is convenient, but why support those against our rights? Try closing your PayPal account and see how they make it really difficult in ...

Re: Surging ATFE notifications of FFL burgeries
They send both e-mail and automated phone calls to FFL’s. I’m tired of getting those, I really do not care about thefts in other states. The automated message always states the obvious that any FFL should know - to report stolen guns to the ATF. If any FFL is not aware of that, they need to have ...

Re: Some peoples reloading math is retarded
I have been acquiring reloading components for over a decade. I have enough brass to outlast anything I shoot in my lifetime (especially since I have a really good annealer). I have plenty of primers and powder and for my the main round I shot (6.5), I have enough bullets to last me well into ...
