Looking to trade a LNIB S&W 642. It is a no lock version and has laser grips. Have a speedloader as well.

Looking to trade for another S&W that has exposed hammer, longer than 3", and can shoot 357. Willing to add cash on my end if needed. Prefer stainless.

Based in your build list id recommend you just buy a full rifle. If you were going with really high-end parts then I think it would make sense to assemble all parts. Id be interested in range report too. I think it's hard to beat a Mini 14 or 30 as a brush gun. I've never shot one past 100 yards but I've heard they have accuracy issues.

I just used a hammer, punch, and oil to drift my front sight. But probably not the best method.
