Well it's only been over 6 months DPS received my paper work on June 11th, In the end I had to contact my state rep, he contacted the DPS and sent me an e-mail

Don't feel alone I took my CHL on June the 11th, I called them Wednesday and they told me that because I live in League City that IKE has put a hold on issuing permits.
I asked for my money back but they said they can't do that, sure are quick in taking it....I think it's time to call the state rep ...
