CHL holders insurance policy
I have heard about an insurance policy that may be available to help with legal fees should a CHL holder ever have to use their gun.Do you guys know who offers a policy like this and if it's a good idea and/or cost effective?

The "Sneaky Pete" Holster
My brother and I are about to look at the Sneaky Pete holsters and the small hanguns that fit it. Do you guys see any legal problems with this for CHL holders?

Pistol preferences ??????
My son-in-law is looking for a real good pistol. I have a Springfield-Armory xd45 acp 5" tactical. He has shot it and really likes it.
But i'm curious as to what you guys like. 5" barrell is great for accuracy , but terrible for concealed carry. .45 is great but more expensive to shoot than 9mm ...

Re: If you are pulled over should you inform...
Okay , but what if you're not carrying ? And I'm curious as to what is "the law" , not just a recommendation. That being said , I will always inform any officer that I have a CHL.

Re: If you are pulled over should you inform...
Keith , thanks. But are you saying that you do not have to tell them if you are not carrying ? By the way , I'm sure they went over this in my class , but after a couple of years I forget a few things.

If you are pulled over should you inform...
I have a CHL and recently was pulled over for speeding , 47 mph in a 35 mph zone. When the officer came to my truck I informed him that I have a CHL and showed him my driver;s license and my CHL.
My question is this ;Is it a requirement to inform the officer that you have a CHL ? I have no problem ...

Re: Pulled over for speeding
Drove that same route this morning , to get down to the "legal speed" at that exit would be much more dangerous than my 52 mph !

I wasn't nervous at all , I don't have anything to be nervous about. just a 53 year old granddad going to work and sippin' on good ol' black hot coffee.
The officer's a good man , I respect him .
dan , thanks for the pm
