Re: how many of you carry pepper spray
I carry "Mean Green" by FoxLabs for those times and places when carrying something with a little more "punch" isn't an option.

This is just as brilliant as Pelosi saying for every $1.00 spent in food stamps and unemployment checks, you get $1.79 in return.
Must be that NEW new math.

Re: Insight Help
Thank you gentlemen for your input. Many of you have said you think this is a control issue and that there are other issues at play here and I think you are right. I have felt on more than one occasion that my friend's husband is controlling and irrational. She has done some things lately which he ...

Re: Insight Help
Insufficient information.
What is the guy's background? Was he raised by pantywaists? Was he shot at some point in his life? Was one of his relatives or friends shot? Is he a dedicated anti-gunner or just ignorant and fearful?
In any case, she is an adult and free to do what she wants. He can't ...

Insight Help
I am looking for a little insight into male thinking to try to help a friend of mine. She desperately wants her own gun, her CHL, and to take a couple of firearms related courses - but her husband is adamantly opposed to it. Every time she comes up with a solution, he comes up with another problem ...

Hubby and I will be there again this year provided I don't miss registration. It is on both our calendars, but I can't check in here as much as I would like to keep track of things.

Possible Leather Work Needed
Was in Seattle this past week and found an AWESOME bag maker. Going back to Seattle in the next few weeks and think I will buy one of this guy's backpack purses. Incredibly well made by hand out of excellent leather and hardware for incredible prices. Beautiful handiwork - even lines the bags in ...

Re: Flying with a gun(special question)
Ok...I have a question that maybe 74novaman would find helpful so as not to hijack his thread... ;-)
I am reading on the airline website where it says ammunition must be in its original packaging and that the airline does not accept loose ammo or clips. So, hoping I am reading right that I have to ...

Re: Flying with a gun(special question)
Glad you posted the question, 74novaman. I was about to get on here and post a couple of questions re: flying with firearms and you asked one that I was wondering. I am flying to Alabama tomorrow morning for work and thank heavens it appears I am good to go!

Re: Books
I'm just about finished with Lone Suvivor by Marcus Luttrell and Patrick Robinson. I highly recommend it.
:iagree: Was a VERY good read. I picked it up at O'Hare and read it until I landed back in Austin. Finished the book the next night and passed it along to my 17 year old son who read it ...

Re: Mexico just fell apart?
I live in a town where the two major "arteries" out of Mexico converge. What you just heard may explain why I saw FOUR DPS cars within under a mile of one another. Two in the southbound and two in the northbound lanes. They were cuffing and stuffing quite a few young males (I drive one of the ...
