I recall reading that the DPS web site is updated daily starting @ midnight each day.

So, based on this info, IMHO, checking the status more than once per day is a waste of time. Unless... someone here can confirm that their status in the morning was "Processing...", and then, upon checking later ...

The cards get printed very early in the process. They get ISSUED at the end. I dont think you are at the end yet.

Where did you get your facts from? Why would you believe the cards get printed before you are approved? Can you clarify your comment for us, please?

This morning I recieved a reply to an email I had sent a few days ago asking, basically, "what's the deal, where is my license". :rules:

I was informed that they are only waiting for my license to be printed at this point. :bigear: :clapping:

Hey Sarge...your right about the fingerprint shuffle and 6 weeks. I spoke with the DPS today. Very helpful and friendly. They are waiting for the prints to come back from the FBI. This Monday will be six weeks since I reprinted and resubmitted! Hope it is not longer than six weeks....but I am not ...

Just venting today... Still waiting. Online status never indicated that my fingerprints had been rejected, even though I got the big brown envelope.
Last update was a few weeks ago "waiting on FBI background check..."

Same update I've been given for 2 weeks now... waiting on FBI check.... what ...

I called today and was told everything is back except for the FBI check....
Hmmm... shouldn't they recieve this before the counties?

I'm thinking this is just another excuse from their long list of excuses...
