One of the most ferocious people I ever met was 4'10". His hobby was picking fights with Marines in 29 Palms. One person pulled a knife on him and showed up for work on monday needing enough dental work to pay for a nice used car. Not surprisingly he was was known as the Tasmanian Devil. Nobody who ...

If you pull out the knife and threaten someone with it, what could you be charged with? What possible legal defenses might you have for pulling it out?

If you're going to use a knife for SD, better the assailant isn't aware of it until he is bleeding heavily.

The illegal aliens from Mexico and their fellow travelers would raise a stink to high heaven if the USA treated them like Mexico treats immigrants, legal and otherwise. I thing the borders should be mined and everything within 200m a free fire zone.

Tx CHL for a non-resident requires a TX ID. I e-mailed the proper authorities to inquire about keeping my TX CHL upon moving to WA State, and was told I would need a TX ID with my WA address. I still haven't figured out if I can do this. Another option is to see if the gun club at my workplace can ...

Note that anti depressants are prescribed for reasons other than depression. They are often used for pain control, particularly chronic pain and usually in conjunction with various analgesics. Chronic pain is not a mental disorder. If it were I would be crazy, but thank God my chronic pain condition ...

It has been years since I had a vehicle fire or a flat tire. Does this mean having a spare and a fire extinguisher is wasted effort? Maybe I should set my truck on fire and cut up the tires to justify the extinguisher and spare. The NYT is written by species anus liberalis urbanus- clear thought is ...

If you aren't a witch why would you object if we look for the devil's mark?

I got my gun belt at Dillon Precision. They claimed to have lifted a car engine with one. Delivery didn't take too long, and price wasn't out of line.

He wouldn't even have to steal my gun. He could just keep kicking me in the head. I suppose that age and physical condition figure into the disparity of force equation. I would prefer to exit the scene if that were an option, but I can't run any better than I can fight with my hands. I can fight ...

Being unemployed I have not had the money to buy a high grade holster. I have a Hunter OWB 9720 cheapie and carry a Steyr S9 usually covered by an unbottoned sort or chambray shirt not tucked in. In some positions there is a slight bulge, but no one has ever commented or called the law. It could be ...

IIRC, in the DPRK ammo in the magazine of a gun otherwise legally carried (i.e. in a case in the trunk) is considered loaded and hence illegal. Stow your piece with the mags empty as they are considered part of the gun.
