Re: 1911 Carry
Me EDC is Wilson Carry Comp Pro. It's a government size frame with 4.5" barrel and bobtailed grip. I actually traded in a Wilson Professional which was a full size frame with 4" barrel but i found it a little trying to conceal very well. The 4.5" barrel makes the gun feel better balanced, but the ...

Re: Tanfoglio Compact 9mm
I strongly recommend the CZ75 line of pistols. They are also a clone type pistol of the original Hi Power. I think the CZ versions are a little higher quality than the EEA. I have a CZ75 compact PCR which is the lightweight alloy framed version of the CZ75 compact. The version I have only has a ...

Re: Concealment in Awkward Situations
When getting fitted for clothes I just ask for the Manager and explain the situation. In almost every case they have a salesperson/tailor or two that is comfortable with it and go on about their business. I have either been taken back to a private fitting room with mirrors or they have given me a ...

Re: POLL: What Caliber Do You Carry The Most?
I carry a Wilson Carry Comp Pro (Govt) in .45 ACP with two spare mags all day, every day.
I'm 6'1" x 190 lbs and have no issues concealing with either my tucker Silent Thunder or UBG IWB.

Re: Tanfoglio Compact 9mm
I have one. It is very comfortable to hold and a great shooter. IMHO it has minimal recoil for a 9. My only complaint is the front sight. On the one I have the FS is held in place with with a rivet. Which after time comes loose. Getting re-secured is a an absolute pain. Other than that it is a great ...

Re: Walther P99?
Had P99 in .40 and really liked it. My only issue was the little bump on the inside of the trigger guard. After about 50 rounds i would get a sore spot on the underside of my trigger finger. Other than that it was very reliable, easy to shoot, and i really liked the decocker and red dot indicator ...

Re: Holster Belts
IMHO Mitch Rosen belts are worth every penny. Double layered, curved in the back for back belt loop, and easily hold up my Government 45 on one side and 2 spare mags on the other with no wobble, droop, or give.

Just don't get the Wolf garbage. The PRIVI PARTIZAN is good stuff, but i think the price is about to go up again. They had one of their manufacturing facilities blow up a few weeks ago. Right now it is $500 for 1000 rounds. If you just need a few hundred rounds I can make you a ...

Re: To and From Work...
So..i had this exact same issue. At one time we had no policy regarding weapons. Then we got bought by a company in Atlanta and bam! new company policy that prohibits employees from carrying a weapon on company property, including the parking lot, and exposed the employees to a search of their ...
