Can someone from out of state open carry in Texas? My brother is cumming from Ma. and wants to open carry my 44.

Rewed CHL early :hurry: and got it back early :hurry:. I replaced the old one with my new CHL(wallet getting to fat :biggrinjester: ) about 4 weeks ago.
The old one is good for 6 more weeks should i carry it till it expires? :bigear: The new one has no issue/start date only expiration .

My 1st gun was purchased 30+ yrs ago in New Hampshire while i was a Mass. resident.
I had a Mass. license for protection of life and property = CHL. and had to have it shipped to a FFL in Mass.
Would that gun be registered and all that I've bought in Texas not.

I was just thinking about willing my firearms to my son at 66 it's time to start thinking about this. :thewave
He dose not have a CHL of any kind but can buy a gun in Texas yet the federal law says i can't purchase one for him. :roll:

Just renewed my Texas CHL .

We are planning to move to Fl. and expected to have made the move by now but it didn't work out.
Went ahead and renewed my CHL cause i didn't want to make the move with out it.

Don't know how the laws work in this situation. Will i be able to retain my Texas CHL ...

I am too old and crippled to fight or run and too big to hide.

I have a receipt and a checklist with two items on it
1 the check list with bar code
2 Photo and fingerprints on file if acceptable

Do i submit this as is and wait to see if prints and or photo are unacceptable then reapply or wait to see if i have to redo either.

I had so much conflicting reload data that i only reloaded 30 9mm rounds. I used Berrys 115g plated Bullets and was told to use data for lead when loading them but some sheets had data for plated and it was closer to the FMJ. I tried to avg. it and went with 3.9g.. I just got a cheep unit from Harbor Freight a few days ago and used the dish soap my wife had by the sink. It worked pretty good i only used a few drops.

I went with the scale this afternoon and loaded 30 rounds. I weighed every other load or so and will try :fire shooting them before loading any more.
