Thanks, mrvmax. You helped me set up my FFL biz over a decade ago and here you are again, being helpful :)
Things are pretty bad with her, the NFA items being the least of her concerns. The moment their mortgage company (Wells Fargo) heard he died, they attempted foreclosing. The house wasn't ...

Need help with Estate NFA items under an LLC
Long ago, I ran a modest firearms business (The Old Cannon Armory -- some of you were great customers!). About 10 years ago, I sold my firearms business to a friend of mine who was thinking about opening his own business. Unfortunately, work and family obligations interfered with his plans and he ...

I'm back (for a bit)
Some of you here might recognize my name. I used to run The Old Cannon Armory. Had to shut it down in 2017, unfortunately. Anyway....I'm mostly back now to offload a bunch of personal reloading equipment, guns, ammo, and powder. I hadn't planned on that, but I discovered I had cancer about a year ...

Recommendation for indoor shooting near Sugar Land?
Have a friend that lives in Sugar Land. He's buying two pistols from me (one for him, one for wife). He wants to get proper training and LTC for them. I don't live in the Houston area, so don't really have a recommendation, although I've heard some decent things about Full Armor near Katy (a bit far ...

I haven’t had this happen and have not observed the compression spring being movedjb2012 wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 2:25 am
Have you had this happen? I’d be pretty interested in a gen2 with a solution for the spring.

Re: A quick review of the Rare Breed "forced reset" trigger
I got mine and it was installed on the weekend.
You need 4oz buffer and M16 BCG too.
That is an extra 200 coins.
400 coins for the giggle switch alone.
It is a drop-in one piece trigger group.
Fortunately for me, I have a LOT of ammo, lowers, tools, F/A BCGs(truth is, almost all BCGs are ...

Re: A quick review of the Rare Breed "forced reset" trigger
You would be surprised how many people asked me to order extra triggers and sell to them anonymously.
Im sure that could be a lucrative business for someone, but not me.
Amd if the ATF decides I should turn it in, well...there’s always plan B.

A quick review of the Rare Breed "forced reset" trigger
I had the opportunity to install a https://www.rarebreedtriggers.com/ on my Noveske rifle a few weeks ago, and finally tried it out yesterday.
For those of you unfamiliar, the trigger is a "forced reset trigger" (imagine a bump stock, moved entirely into the trigger assembly). It resets the trigger ...

Heavy duty workbench - $300 OBO
Some of you have been my customers when I ran The Old Cannon Armory. I had a heavy-duty workbench in my shop. It can hold hundreds of pounds, has a oil-resistant double urethane coating on the work surface, and it’s trimmed with birch. Also comes with a 12-outlet power strip and LED workshop ...

Putting feelers out for interest:Mossberg 590 police and a Bond Arms Snake Slayer
So, I have a Mossberg 590 that belonged to my baby brother. He died of cancer in my home in 2010, and didn’t have much to his name, except the 590. It’s been a safe queen for me, but we’re about to move, and I’ve decided the "sentimental value" doesn’t justify hauling it around more just to not use ...

Re: Seeking opportunity: Part time IT project manager?
Im actually very good with working with clients, negotiating contracts, closing deals, and generally providing the best service I can to my clients. Unfortunately, as you point out (in a way), it _getting_ clients that I suck at. I appreciate your honesty though!

Seeking opportunity: Part time IT project manager?
I have about 3 decades of project management experience, including multi-year careers at Microsoft and Dell. I’ve transitioned into real estate about 5 months ago(wanted a career I could scale up and down, depending on my needs). Unfortunately, even in such a hot seller’s market, I’m still working ...

Proper response: "I am not carrying a gun, THAT IS MY INSULIN PUMP! HOW DARE YOU EMBARRASS ME LIKE THIS IN PUBLIC! LEAVE ME ALONE! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Works wonders. You don't have to tell anybody SQUAT unless they're law enforcement.
