Re: Tired of Cornyn?

I've tried to vote against him in primary every time.

The party itself needs to censure and grow up.

Here is another part of the problem

The PAC is dedicating some money to Cornyn. I don't see self-censure as an ...

Re: Tired of Cornyn?

The real problem with Cornyn isn't Cornyn. It is complacent Republican voters who go to the polls and check off anyone with an "R" behind their name. Those same voters don't have any idea what the "R" candidates did the last time they were elected and so in the primary elections, they just vote for ...

Re: No place but New York- it could even get worse their in the future

The underpinnings of New York City's financial problems are one of the many reasons for the rise of a Socialist mayor.

And I doubt if NYC residents are alone in this ...

Re: Philadelphia Permit Holder Arrested

How bad is Pittsburg? My darned daughter told me today her and my grand daughter were planning to go there for some kind of book writers convention next year. I am really worried.

Among the three biggest cities (Philly, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh), I would say Pittsburgh is the best. But it is ...

Re: Philadelphia Permit Holder Arrested

This situation was stacked against the permit holder before he pulled the trigger. Larry Krasner is a heavily Soros supported DA and it would be unreasonable to expect him to come down on the side of self-defense. That two juveniles with extensive criminal records were walking around with visible ...

Re: Too Good to be True

My problem is with Facebook. There is a big law enforcement effort to deal with people who take over the computers of elder and demand payments. I have personally had those pages show up on my computer, all derived from otherwise innocent looking FB pages. I have the computer skills to show down the ...

Re: State Fair (and elsewhere!) Fix SB1065 Out of Committee

I hold no hope that, no matter what the Texas Legislature and Governor do, Dallas is going to allow legal firearms at the State Fair. I use the same logic for them that I use for Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods and the other store chains that post 30.06 signs. They would rather go out of ...

I hope this isn't a duplicate. I searched for other threads and didn't find this information. I'm not sure what it means

A.G> Bondi has launched a Second Amendment Task force.

Re: Nobody but Corey Booker

An aide to Cory Booker has been arrested for carrying a concealed gun into the US Capital:

Booker led the aide around a U.S. Capitol Police security checkpoint on Monday night, later resulting in the arrest. Capitol Police officers are required to check aides and others at checkpoints ...

Re: Guess who had USAID money “laundered” to them?

USAID is but one of the many feeding troughs for the people's money that the uni-party has set up. While the Democrats are the biggest pigs at that trough, by no means are the Republicans not involved. If nothing else, they have turned away from watching this stuff for decades. USAID was those ...

Re: More people murdered by pilot at the controls of a plane than by mass shooters

I'll add to the thread drift to say that a video I saw last night (cannot find the link this morning) was done by a pilot or at least he was in a pilot's uniform. The bottom line was that the helicopter pilot asked for and was granted "visual separation" which meant that he had eyeballs on the plane ...

Re: New Texas Speaker of the House

As always, the truth lies not in what they say but in what they do.

I'll crawl out on the limb and suggest that almost none of the Republican agenda, as set forth by the grass roots organizations, will be accomplished in this session. There will be no new 2nd Amendment bills. We can only hope that ...

Re: Rep. Giovanni Capriglione (HD98)

The Dems must have some dirt on Capriglione.

I don't think so. We were all fooled by him when he first ran. Since then, he has maintained his position through the strength of the same people who keep the Tate/Spencer dynasties going in Grapevine. There are a lot of Republicans in Tarrant County ...
