With that said, I passed with flying colors.... My life with extra protection has just started.
Come on buddies.. I'm sure ...

Re: Visiting San Antonio input please
I live in San Antonio and here is where I would want to go:
1) You have to visit the alamo (ask for the basement, to see peewee herman's bike).
2) Walk the riverwalk, and eat at the Boudro's (not tex-mex), Have to drink a Prickly-Pear Margarita.
3) Drive a few miles up Blanco Rd and eat Tex-Mex as ...

Re: Got my first AR15, What do you think?
I paid $1400 for the setup, so it wasn't that much of a purchase from the $700 quote above. I figured a decent new AR15 would start at 1k and up after adding the mods. I did look at the Rock River arms at the gun show, they had a nice one for 1099.99. So A few more bills to have a EOTech and ...

Re: Got my first AR15, What do you think?

Got my first AR15, What do you think?
I have been eyeballing the AR15 type weapons for a while (2 years). I almost bought one at the gun show 2 weeks ago, but I figured, one day a better deal will come my way at one of the local Pawn Shops.
