Re: Winchester/NRA Marksmanship - challenging you!

Thanks!

First started it in 2018. I burned well over 1,000 rounds to hit the Pistol Bullseye Distinguished Expert. It was the most difficult course I've shot yet and running an optic on my pistol was the only way I could hit that high of a score.

It was well worth it. Its easy to track my ...

Re: NFA Challenged by multiple gun groups

This is an important development. I for one welcome fewer restrictions on silencers and SBRs in particular. I'm fine with convicted felons getting extra penalties for possessing or misusing these and other firearms.

Haynes v. United States shows explicitly that the NFA and state registration ...

Re: Texas Floods: Anyone Affected?

I was happy to hear that the State is going to go with a flood warning system that Kerr County refused to install after so many years.

This is also something to think about:

Not directly affected, but my wife's coworker's daughter was rescued by helicopter. The girl is physically ok, but traumatized.

Re: Suppressor provision in Big Beautiful Bill

I for one am very happy not to have to pay the $200 tax. GOA and others have filed a lawsuit to remove the no tax items from the NFA (as the courts have defined the NFA as a tax, and now there is no tax).

The courts can take a while, but we have another shot at removing SBRs, SBSs, AOWs and ...

Salt Lake City ‘No Kings’ protest murder suspect pushed Antifa views

Arturo Gamboa, the man charged with murder after a deadly shooting at Salt Lake City’s “No Kings” protest publicly supported Antifa.

A designated “peacekeeper” at the event, wearing a high-visibility vest, opened fire with a handgun—striking Gamboa and inadvertently hitting Ah Loo. The victim ...

Hope the permit holder has a good lawyer and preferably carry insurance.

Sounds like there were more than just 2 gangsters in the establishment if another took one handgun and stashed it across the street.
