If you are in that part of town after sundown, you get what you deserve.

I sure am. If the shoe fits... put it on and start kicking people with it.

That area has THE highest concentration of crime in all of Tarrant County. I have to go around there to enroll folks on Medicaid in a Medicare Advantage plan every so often. It is bad enough in the daytime, after dark, it is a death wish.

Remind me not to go to the part of town in Orlando where Pulse is located after sundown, since I would undoubtedly deserve to be murdered.

(ScottDLS, Don't go near Pulse in Orlando after sundown, you would deserve to get murdered) <---There I did it myself. :evil2:

What if instead we say: If you are in that part of town after sundown, you paced yourself in harms way and should expect the worst.

Ridicule all that you like, that is a well-known bad part of town. There is a black vs. brown turf war going on in that area. If you go there after dark, whatever happens to you could have easily been foreseen and avoided by not going there... thus, if you go there, and it happens... you deserve it.

The Pulse night club was an entirely different event.

Why is this a difficult concept?

You don't deserve to get murdered unless your trying to hurt someone else, and even then not always. You don't "deserve" to get murdered if you're Jewish and go to Aleppo, Syria... but it's stupid.

Your argument is completely specious, no one deserves to get murdered for going to a particular part of Fort Worth after dark. Not even for going to illegal (trespassing) party at a dance studio. I understand hyperbole, but if you are being literal then you are wrong.

Like my daddy taught me:
1. Nothing good happens after midnight,
2. in a bad part of town ( multiplying factor)
3. with gang members ( exponential factor).
Guess my daddy was right, as I get older, turns out he was right about most everything.
Sorry they died but not losing sleep over it.

:iagree:

Just a weird way to say avoid an area. I live about 2-3 miles from this area, I suppose I deserve to die by location.

Updated story just 15 minutes ago:

" Officers are preparing to make arrests in connection with the suspected gang-related shootings that left two people dead and at least five others injured Saturday morning during an unauthorized party at a Texas dance studio, a police spokesman said.

Fort Worth police spokesman Mark Povero told The Associated Press arrests are imminent and that investigators believe gang activity was involved."
