I picked up one of these at Sam's in Mansfield, TX on Sunday. There was a couple of pallets of them then.

I just bought the last one at the El Dorado location in Houston. I don't know what I'll use it for, but it's a good buy at $20.

I was thinking that this would make a good case for my camera gear.
I just noticed the picture of the camera on the case. Doh!

I have some Tannerite that begs to differ. I wonder what their warranty says (as opposed to their marketing).

None at either of the two Sam's closest to me near Cypress. Wish they had them for sale online. I've been on a semi-OCD tear the last several weeks getting all my shooting and prepper stuff better organized.

I bought two, went back last night and bought two more. Good cases, great prices. I didn't think about the spotting scope, may have to get one more.

Which store did you go to ? Unless they got some more in, Charles said he bought the last one at the El Dorado store.

I don't know what TSA requires, but it's a hard case with two metal shrouded points for locks. The hinge joint is enclosed on the outer end and the other end is half shrouded. It has a pressure release valve. The only rating it has is IP55 for dust and water intrusion.
I believe the only requirement that the TSA has is that it is solid and lockable .. The case is indeed, solid and it can be secured with up to two locks. I will use two keyed small locks. People have used the flimsy plastic cases that originally held their handguns, and this is much more secure and solid than they are.

The website says they're in stock at Eldorado and the Fuqua stores.

Thanks. When I checked, none were available at the two stores closest to me. Went back online and found them available in Katy. Bought two; more of a drive than I'd like, but I'll pick 'em up Friday morning.
