That would blend perfectly with dead oak tree foliage!AndyC wrote: Sun Aug 25, 2019 8:36 am Played around with some Rustoleum yesterday - the "Flat Brown" has a redder tone than I wanted/expected, but it'll do for now:

Are you planting freedom seeds?AndyC wrote: Sun Aug 25, 2019 9:19 am I may do that later, but I don't have any Hi-temp paint now. The barrel does actually have a little of the lighter beige on it, but I expect it'll burn off once I start planting lead.

The only one of my guns I’ve ever attempted to spray paint. It was also the gun I have paid the most for. I disassembled it first & only did the plastic parts.

I just watched MAC's review of this gun on Patreon last night. Interesting gun, but I’d personally have chosen the tactical flat top model as being more useful, not to mention looking less ....uh.... weewaw. (No insult intended.)AdioSS wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2019 6:38 am

Have you had any issues with the optic on yours?

I got the FS2000 in 2013 when ARs were going for nearly triple what they sell for now. I figured at the time that if I was going to be spending that much for a 5.56 gun, then I should get something cool
I didn’t know all the details of what was available at the time. I don’t mind the optic that came on it. No issues, but I don’t really shoot it too much.
