Please pray for my 2nd oldest grand daughter. She had just got an apartment of her own 2 months ago. We helped her buy new furniture and Monday my wife took her shopping for kitchen utensils. Yesterday her apartment building caught fire. Due to the wind it was quickly a 3 alarm fire and traveled from 1 end to the other in just a mater of a few minutes. The building is a total loss. She got out with 1 of her guitars, her cat, dog and the clothes on her back (and they smelled of smoke). She at least took our advice and got renters insurance but right now she has nothing left.
Also, pray for the firefighter that was injured and the other 31 families left homeless.

Very sad, but praise the Lord she escaped and was able to get the animals too. We will be praying for her.

As we went around getting her some clothes, shoes, and toiletries she wanted to go by the apartment. Against my better judgment I took her. The building it a total loss. She handled it pretty well, better that I would have in her place. However, we stopped for dinner and a tidal wave of emotions finally hit her and she broke down hard. I can’t think of a time in my life when I have felt so helpless. Lots of hugs and reassurances that we are there for her was all I could do.
