It was inevitable. This is what happens when the party stops listening to their constituents and verbally abuses them for not supporting everything the party does.

In Houston every Democrat kept their job:
Judges that release with out bail, Judges who give no jail time but only probation to repeat offenders for serious offenses.
County Commissioners who just raised county property taxes by the biggest amount in history and this is on top of the 10% more they get every year due to rising property values. Oh and every executive got a raise at the county, they all now make $300k a year plus county benefits and pensions.
This year there were no straight party ballots or Beto or Obama to attract lots of voters.
Somewhere in the last two years the Dems have added 1.5 million new voters. Abbott got 4.5 million just like last 3 times. However, Dems who could only muster 3.5 million the last 3 times, did way better.
Anti transgender ballot referendums passed everywhere in the country while the same voters, voted for the people who support men in women’s sports.
In God I trust. We need his help more than ever.
