Just moved out of state, change of address ?

Post by SigM4 »

Well as the title says I have been unfortunate enough to have been taken from the great state of Texas. However, it was a new position with my company, and of all places to the open carry state of Wyoming; so its not all bad.

I'll probably be back to Texas at some point since our headquarters are there so I'm planning on keeping my CHL current. However, I've noticed that to change my address to an out of state address I have to mail in a paper request. On here it asks for my CHL # and DL # at the top. I'm assuming this is the current DL#? Or do I need to wait until I receive my WY DL and then use that? The reason I ask is because it asks for a photocopy of my new DL to be included. So either way I have to wait.

Basically, if someone knows the procedure for changing to an out of state address I'd appreciate the help. With the wait being what it is already I don't want to have to send in my and my fiance's forms three times. As always I appreciate the help!
