Anyone here own a Mora knife?
Wow, the Mora #1 carbon steel I ordered just came in today. Initial impression is that this is one very well made, yet inexpensive, knife. There's nothing tactical about this knife, just a good 'using' knife. Biggest complaint about it is the cheesy plastic sheath that comes with it, so I'll be getting out the leather and stitcher one evening to make a better sheath. The blade is very cleanly sharp, it makes a clean slice through paper on every part of the blade.
Hopefully it will hold up well, I'll find out in a few days. Yup, a few days...feels like the birchwood handle has no oil or protective coating on it, so it's getting a gentle rub-down of tung oil for the next few days.

Mora Knives
Six for sure.
Re: Mora Knives
It's actually a FROSTS MADE knife. The Mora may be a line of wooden handles or something like that.
Frosts has been making knives in Sweden for a very long time. They have all sorts of knives. Every one I have seen comes with the plastic sheath. Most of the knives have plastic handles of different colors.
Attached is an example of a stainless Frosts knife that is normally used on Boats as a working blade.
They are very good knives for the money and the blades are excellent. I have this blue one in my knife block and use it for my steak knife,........... when I get to eat steak!

Re: Mora Knives
Yes, it is Frost's made knife, however the blade is engraved with a "Mora" logo, not a "Frost's" logo. Don't know what exactly the Frost's vs. Mora thing is all about, but it's one great little knife. Got plenty of use this evening.
