I have been a member of GPGC since 2000. I don't shoot any skeet or trap, although they have very nice facilities.

I play on the pistol (7 to 50 yard) and rifle (25 to 200 yard) ranges. There is no FMJ limitation in the rules that I have ever read, although there is a rule against using .50BMG on the rifle range (pretty common these days). For the moment there are no shares left to buy, but they are actively letting the inactive members know that they are looking for shares to be bought back or sold to other interested parties.

Every third Saturday is Public Range Day. It's only a couple of dollars to shoot all day ($4 or $5) per person per range. So even if you can't join, you can come out and shoot that day.

Yes the entry is expensive, but I know I can sell the share any time I want. Plus when you consider that I hit the range twice a month minimum, for 2-4 hours at a time, it is a heck of a lot cheaper than paying for public range time at Bullet Trap, Alpine, etc.

My biggest complaint is the lack of a practical bay (big issue with the pistol shooters) and you can only shoot paper on the rifle range. I would love to have some hard targets to shoot at.
