CA: Revenge of the squirrels

Post by seamusTX »

In Chico, California, today, a man died when he reportedly shot at a squirrel and hit a tree branch that fell on him, with fatal results.

I wouldn't nominate him for a Darwin award. I think it's more in the "stuff happens" category.

However, shooting straight up is almost never a good idea.

Mercenary albino squirrels. They're the worst.

I've been consumed by this story since the first post. I've combed through countless pages of interviews with the squirrel's coworkers and family members.

IMHO, this was a completely justified branching on the part of the squirrel. He was just protecting his nuts.

Thank you to the forum member that helped me with the investigation. :tiphat:

Never attack a squirrel with more firepower than you.

I can't quite imagine it, but the notion of being struck by hundreds of flechettes is very troubling.

Some people have way to much time on their hands and spend it in PhotoShop. LOL
