I went to the TP on 75 in Plano a while back. They had an unlicensed possession sign.

I will never go back, to any TP.

The service was lousy beyond understanding. I think the attitude was that if enough young ladies prance around in supposedly risque clothing (and I have seen way more risque in public at Home Depot) they should be able to provide poor service and all the customers will be so mesmerized they won't notice.

I took a buddy to the Tilted Kilt in Grapevine a few months ago. He has a CHL and at the time I didn't. Anyways, we were heading back home from Collin County and he hadn't been there before, I had. I called them on the phone to ask ahead of time if they were 30.06 and the person who answered the phone said he didn't know and put me on with the manager. When the manager answered I asked him, he said he didn't know what that meant. I then asked if Concealed handguns were allowed, he said no, no guns are allowed and then hung up on me.

When we got there we noticed that it was posted unlicensed possession. So my buddy went inside carrying. The service this day was poor and it was a bad experience for my friend. We did observe this manager while we were there. HE was so busy checking out the girls. I saw him twice slap 2 girls on their rear ends as they were walking into the back room. This was in full view of the patrons in the room, and showed me his charactor.

My buddy sent off a long email to their corp. headquarters regarding this behavior.

I will not eat there again. I like Bone Daddy's food better...have not heard about the other place up there and have yet to go to Twin Peaks.

Sorry for the rant, had to get it out!! :grumble

I find the premise of these places more than a little juvenile, but then any kind of gimmick restaurant has never appealed to me.

When I go out to eat I want a place that concentrates on producing good food along with good service. Frankly, I wouldn't care if Jabba The Hut was the server as long the service and food are up to par.

I'd be embarrassed to seen in any of these eye-candy servers places.

If I'm going to be presented an opportunity to leer at some hottie, I'll go to a strip club, though I don't go to these places either.

As a younger guy I went to a few strip clubs with a group of buddies and felt ill at ease. The women working there would look back at me in such a manner that I felt disgusted with myself for being there and sorry for the girls loss of dignity.

These types of gimmick restaurants, from what I can ascertain are really a kind of strip club-light serving mediocre food as a wink and a nod.

Even during the recession the parking lots look full, so there must be lots of men who aren't happy in their relationships to keep them busy. Maybe even some DADT women too.
This will only hurt a little. What comes next, more so.
