There was a young man named Larry
Who liked to post about Open Carry
He expressed his views a lot
until the replies he got were too hot
and the thread turned a little bit hairy

This morning I got in the shower
When a noise made me grab my hi-power
I went to see
But noticed with glee
That racking my slide caused him to flee

The Cowboys have no more Romo
This could be a problem, I don't know
I sill cling to my gun
We'll give Obama a run
And Tuesday will go down as a no-vote

There was a young fellow named Keith
who tried to rustle some rancher's beef
he found a rope to catch him a steer
the rancher saw this and shot him in his rear
and that ended his career as a thief

Joe Horn called 911 one night
the dispatcher told him to stay inside and sit tight
Old Joe racked his shotgun and didn't listen
and went outside to confront him
and Joe still thinks he did right

This rhyming thread has been fun thanks to rdcrags
WildBill can write em faster than I can load mags
Seems we could do this forever
But now I endeavor
To get off the couch and not drag

An Italian cop from Mexia
married a girl in Brea.
Now in L.A. patrolling,
he can often be heard extolling
“Go ahead, make-a my day-a.”

A retired SF cop named Dirty Harry
thought under LEOSA he could carry
until he tried it in New York City
where he was promptly arrested, what a pity
and the judge sentenced him to Riker's, how scary

While taking a letter to mail,
In concealing his gun he did fail.
while confused in the head,
he mailed the gun to the Fed,
and is spending some time in jail.
