Online Application Question

I'm sorry for the 2 newbie questions, but I have searched and haven't seen an answer yet.

I did my online application, I was then given some receipt/checklist pages to print. On those pages is an empty box that has "Bar code of transaction" written in it, but no bar code.

I then was emailed a bar code. Do I just include a copy of the email with barcode on it, and the receipt pages and all items on checklist?

Also the Photos. My understanding is that you just print out and include the ID Signature card.

I then put the 2 photos in an envelope with my name on it and sign the CHL-6 form. We no longer put our names on the Photss and no one else need sign them correct?

Rebel - the checklist there is somewhat dated. After your class, here is what you need to send in:

*The barcode and receipt

*1 fingerprint card, unless you went to FAST, then they submit electronically

*Signature card (the call it photo holder, even though it does not hold the photo anymore)

*2 photos that do not need to be signed, but I suggest you print your name on the back, just for good measure

*The CHL-100 (class completion form) signed by the instructor and you

Thank you so much Crossfire. I figured that was the case concerning the barcode and the receipt of payment. I am scheduled for FAST and am getting my pics tomorrow. Now just waiting for the class on the 18th and then get everything signed and sent in.

Not to confuse anyone but what about the proof of proficiency form and affidavits?

If you apply online, you "kinda swear" online by checking the box to cover the affidavits. If I understand correctly the instructor gives you the proficiency card. We just had the barcode and checklist all ready to send with the rest of the checklist items the day after class! To steal a quote from USA1 "Easy Cheesy"

Okay, so just for the "criminally stupid" here, I don't get a "packet" sent to my by the DPS? Some things I've read seem to indicate maybe that was the way it worked in the past. I just take that bar code page (mine printed the bar codes on the page) and the receipt and head to the class (class includes the photos and fingerprints). Or am I missing something.
