NRA, Brady center bring gun battle to Texas

The National Rifle Association is asking a federal judge to declare that young people ages 18 to 20 have a constitutional right to carry concealed weapons in public.

Looks like Colin Goddard quoted in it

SOURCE: Waco Tribune-Herald 6 hours ago

In context:
He has worked to defeat similar proposals in Missouri, Louisiana and Virginia and will be back in Texas next year to fight against the latest bills. "I was at the right place at the right time at Virginia Tech — I was in class where I belonged ... The problem that day was a gun on campus. Another gun, or 10 or 20 more guns, would not have been the solution. I hope smart Texas legislators will again reject this proposal." While spokeswomen at Baylor University and McLennan Community College said their schools ban guns on campus and likely won’t be changing their policies, Texas State University’s student government became the first in Texas earlier this month to endorse carrying concealed handguns on campus.

(And, the problem is there are guns in Mexico, where they are illegal .... BIGGER SIGNS AND MORE LAWS ARE NEEDED ... yeah, that's the solution...) [sorry, couldn't resist... I want a gun that shoots those suction cup darts with "idiot flags"]

6 hours ago- State high court asked to uphold campus gun ban
A Washington, D.C.-based gun control group has filed a brief urging the Colorado Supreme Court to dismiss a lawsuit seeking to allow guns on campus.

The brief by the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence urges the state’s high court to overturn an April appeals court ruling that allowed a lawsuit to proceed that seeks to allow concealed weapons at the University of Colorado.

NRA, Brady bring gun battle to Texas

That's probably the WACO article too.
Quoted Colin Goddard (employee of Brady, with job security due to being at Virginia Tech)

Other quotes too, some for the law-abiding people illustrating the:
(my words below)
The Oxymoron:
Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence
Goal:
Make ALL guns illegal so we can be as safe as the Mexico Gun-Free Zone of Ciudad Juarez, where guns are illegal.
