The New Orleans Police Department reported that a man survived a bullet to the mouth after it was deflected by his gold tooth. The man was shot by his brother for smoking his weed. The story doesn't mention the caliber of the bullet.

Nyeh. The guy was lucky. It was New Orleans.
Gold is the most malleable metal in common use and would not deflect a stiff punch.
There are a million of these stories of cops' badges, steel-clad Bibles, belt buckles, etc., deflecting bullets. A few might have been miracles. Most were just chance. Most people who are shot survive.

It's a pretty safe bet it didn't start with a "4".WildBill wrote:The New Orleans Police Department reported that a man survived a bullet to the mouth after it was deflected by his gold tooth. The man was shot by his brother for smoking his weed. The story doesn't mention the caliber of the bullet.
