TSRA gunshow

Post by BLG »

I am wondering about carrying my sidearm at the show this weekend. I have never been to a gun show where that was allowed, buy then I've never been to one sponsored by the TSRA.

Also curious how many forum members are planning to attend?

Expect to see a proper 30.06 sign prohibiting carry.

I’ve contacted my State Rep, Gary Elkins, about co-sponsoring HB560. Have you contacted your Rep?

Agree (from the 'buyer' side) - pretty bad. A lot of folks selling raffle tickets and other stuff. Few large gun dealers, quite a few small dealer / 'just trading stuff' folks. Almost everything was way high except for a few of the defensive shotguns and some AR and AK guns. I made a couple (reasonable) offers on used handguns and was told "not interested" and they walked away from me both times. walked out with nothing - not even a bagonuts or jerky...

I went on Saturday with a few friends I talked into going. Was a bit apologetic to them for the rather poor show. Has it been this way in the past?
