 
   
 Full story...FORT WORTH - Three men accused to trying to smuggle machine guns from Fort Worth to Mexico appeared in federal court Monday afternoon.
As we first reported Friday, the three got caught in a sting set up by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Gabriel Barbosa, Arnulfo Sanchez Castillo and Juan Garza Junior were arrested in a shopping center parking lot off East Loop 820 by federal agents and Fort Worth police.

 I was going to take a near mint 4" Colt Python (manufactured in 1978) to the gun show to try to sell/trade it.  The morning I was getting ready to leave, my wife expressed "concern" about me getting mugged in the parking lot or getting ripped off by bad check/phoney money.  In order to keep her happy, I ended up going to local range and trading it.  I probably could have gotten $100s more if I sold it to third party, but felt this was the safer option.  Now I know where I'll list the hunting rifle I want to get rid of (once I've made my 45 posts of course
