knife dealers in houston/surrounding area

Post by LSUTiger »

I am looking for any place be it a gun shop, sporting goods store or knife dealer that has a large selection of quality knives to choose from.

A specialty place I can walk in and hold several knives before deciding if I want to spend $300 on a Cold Steel Trail Master in San Mai III or $20 on a Ka Bar Dozer Folder or any knife in between or above.

I've already perused the usual suspects ( Wal-Mart, Academy, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro, Carter's, REI, Top Brass) with no luck. The GRB gun show was the closest I've come to being able to handle a large variety of knives with limited satifaction.

I've bought a few knives in the internet recently without being able to handle them first and was disappointed.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

other than that the Arms room in League City has a decent selection but i couldnt tell you what they carry . probably has no more than bass pro in Pearland i just remember a few catching my eye last time ... worth a phone call at the least to see what they have .

I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal
