AR guy pulls gun on news crew

Just because he didn't like them being there... It doesn't even look like they're on his property.

An interesting question for the WWYD crowd.

Me? I'd have looked to withdraw.... Clearly the idiot was posturing.. but.. that could have gone south in a hurry.

Wowzers... What an idiot, with the camera rolling and everything. If someone did that to you would you wait for him to take the gun from behind his back and point it towards you? De-escalation would be my top priority, but its really hard to say what one would do until you are faced with that situation. I think because it seemed he was using the gun as an intimidation tool (still a serious crime) and not as a weapon to cause you physical harm that I would probably just comply with his demand that I leave, leave, and call the police. No need to get into a shootout right?

If you can avoid one, that's a pretty good policy. But if you ARE in a shootout, try not to be the last one to know you're in one!

From the "subject" line, I was expecting him to pull out an AR-15, not a pistol.

Oh, ARkansas - now I get it.

Too bad the reporter didn't come back with with a real gun and mean it.
