New credit card processing breach

I just got an email from Bank of America regarding my Visa card saying they had issued a new account number. I called to inquire and was told my account was possibly compromised.

While awaiting the new card, I may use my old card until April 19th, but it will be watched for unusual activity.

Don't know how other companies are handling it.
