Fiancee getting CHL

My fiancee is finally getting her CHL (or, as she described it, her "Texas Resident Identification Card"). She's from Chicago so the entire concept of people carrying guns was alien to her prior to her move here two years ago.

We went to the gun show a couple weeks ago so she could hold all the guns and see how they felt in her hand and what was most comfortable for her. Of course, her favorite was the Kimber Ultra Carry .45. She also liked the Bersa Thunder .380CC.

We went to Bullet Trap yesterday so she could rent the Bersa and see how she shot with it before she takes her shooting test. I don't know if it was my excellent instruction or if she simply has a gift, but she was shooting up the X in center mass after her first 25 rounds. She only got outside of center mass on two shots at 15 yards, and she admitted that she anticipated the shot on those two because she was rushing.

Needless to say, I was very proud of her. Also, I am absolutely certain I will never make her extremely angry at me.

Thats pretty good you converted her.

My brother in law is from Wash. DC. I insist every time he comes here to take him to the range for a few hours.lol

Now i just have to work on my cousins wife who thinks just having a guns&ammo magazine your like goona go shoot up the place.This is the same person who takes a bazillion pills everyday and you have to stop every 20 minutes so she doesnt puke in your car.She just about lost it the first time they rode with me and found out my gun was in the center console right next to her. lol
