if the business is in Texas, regardless of where the home office or management is located, Texas law still prevails.
For instance, I work for a Japanese company, they are very anti-gun for the private citizens, but we can keep them in our vehicles, even though policy prohibits them on company property.

Allow me to further muddy the waters as much as I can. I am prohibited by my employer's anti policy from carrying in the building, but I do carry in the car to & from and leave my gun locked in my car. I ended up having to work pretty late yesterday evening. So when everybody cleared out between 5 & 6, I went out to my car & moved it closer to the building. Before I got out if my car I re-armed. Since no one was in my area to see/report me it wasn't an issue. But I was concealed just the same. So even if I did happen to pass someone in the halway, they'd be unlikely to notice. More importantly, I was protected when I finally left for the night.

This may be an option for our OP. Wait until most of the day-shift has left, move your car to a closer spot, & return to work a couple pounds heavier & a whole lot safer.
