TCA: NBC Orders Hillary Clinton Miniseries
Diane Lane to star as former First Lady

Los Angeles – NBC has ordered a four-hour miniseries based on the life of Hillary Rodham Clinton that will star Diane Lane, NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt announced at the TCA press tour Saturday.

The project will be written and directed by Courtney Hunt and recount Clinton's life from her time living in the White House as First Lady (the role of Bill Clinton has not yet been cast) to her tenure as Secreatry of State.
I note that there isn't very much to compliment her about in the years prior to becoming the first lady, so those years don't get covered. There is no announcement of a miniseries about the life of a republican (lite) governor who gets elected in a democrat state who might be running as the next republican nominee. You'd think that NBC would run a story about the "fiery yet avuncular politician who is able to find common ground with his opposition"...........or some garbage like that.......

I'm wondering when NBC is going to do a miniseries about Obama as Jesus Christ......

The term “hagiography” has also been used as a pejorative reference to the works of biographers and historians perceived to be uncritical or “reverential” to their subject, and is arguably the more common usage in a non-specialist context

Hmmm, I nominate Anthony Weiner for the part of Bill Clinton. Looks like he'll have some time available. "rlol"

The story of wrecking Arkansas' largest and oldest law firm, at least one partner in jail, another dead, and others ruined professionally, wouldn't make a good story. A lot of fingers get stepped on climbing the greasy pole.

It would be a good story to recount all the friends of Bill and Hill whose lives were wrecked by their association, dead, ruined, jailed, living in exile, fled the country to avoid testilying, etc., probably a cast of thousands, nobody can afford to pay all those actors.

God does not always answer our prayers the way we want them answered. Sometimes, His answers are intended to bring about His purposes, and those purposes can be difficult for us to see and understand with our limited capacities. It may be that we must endure another leftist democrat president before the truly stupid and/or spiritually empty and dark wake up and say "enough."

I am pretty sure we are going to have another democrat president, because I am pretty sure that the United States of America's best days are behind us. This part is just my personal opinion, but I think that it started when we kicked God out of public life. Absolutely NOTHING I have seen in national voting patterns over the past 20+ years gives me any reason to think otherwise. It is going to get a whole lot uglier before it gets better, because without a common belief in a deity to unify us, we have no common calling as Americans any longer. Again, just my opinion. YMMV.

There is nothing new under the sun. Bread and circuses is an ancient idea, and it works wonderfully for the short-sighted.

That's how we ended up with Obama, all the hoping and praying "Anybody But Hillary!"

Not to mention the right mindset.

After this biography is done, I'm sure people will think you're referring to somebody else.
