Carry Position in the Car

I carry at 3 or 3:30 IWB and for short trips I don't alter this. For long trips, I usually remove my weapon from the holster and put it in the console in a pocket holster.

On my motorcycle, I carry IWB. Not that I can use the weapon while riding, I just don't like to have to transfer it to and from saddle bags.

my concern with this is that we have a 20 yo and a 17 yo and I don't want a LEO to have something like "you're making a gun available to a minor" to gripe about. So for my recent long trip with my 17 yo, I put it in my purse and put my purse down by my left leg. you guys could use a small backpack and do the same thing.
