Finished CHL Class

Just took the CHL class today... learned some good pointers... range was good also.. only problem was the front sight broke of after firing 5 rounds. shot the other 45 rounds with out a front sight and still qualified. will be sending the the paperwork in soon

Were you using the ruger?

Have heard about several different models of Rugers having the same issue. Hope they figure out the problem and correct it.

Have heard about several different models of Rugers having the same issue. Hope they figure out the problem and correct it.[/quote]


hope so too.... few post I read about it owners had to send the firearm back to Ruger for the sight replacement...

Just dropped the Ruger off to be shipped back to Prescott.. Customer Service said they will install a machined sight. should have it back hopefully Monday, Tuesday next week. Hope this is the first and last time. Read some in the Ruger forums that owners were sending their weapons back 3 and four times.

Ruger forum has a thread going on Front Sight broke off. I have the same gun mine is holding up so far :fire

received a phone call from Ruger this morning.... has been shipped and should be here tomorrow (Tues) will try it out this weekend if the weather is good... :thewave
